Software: Just got myself Certified in Windows XP!

....It was lunch time and I was booted out of a DOTA game because of that darn "0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION)" error in WC3 TFT (any ideas about this?). So I just checked my emails and a few minutes at brainbench (napag-tripan lang) then,...voilaaa!!

Head on over to http://www.brainbench.com/xml/bb/common/testcenter/freetests.xml to view the list of free test they are giving....(btw, I used to be one of the first ones to be certified in ASP in BrainBench)

And oh after that, I changed my phone's ringtone (a wave sample of Steroephonic's Dakota), then went back to work right on time. :)

Software: You learn something new every day...(ntfs)

Did you know that NTFS has five versions: v1.0, v1.1 and v1.2 found in NT 3.51 and NT 4, v3.0 found in Windows 2000 and v3.1 found in Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. These versions are sometimes referred to as v4.0, v5.0 and v5.1, after the version of Windows they ship with. Newer versions added extra features: Windows 2000 introduced quotas.

Games: Console Wars update (Video card)

Well, I've been an nVidia user for quite some time now and I was wondering about the GPU of those next-generation Game consoles from Sony & Microsoft (PS3 & Xbox 360)

XBOX 360 will have a video processor by ATI and Nvidia for the Sony PS3. The Nintendo Revolution will also have an ATI GPU (and WiFi!!).

XBOX 360 will be launched months ahead of PS3 but they say PS3's hardware power would be double of XBOX 360. Nintendo Revolution doesn't want to go into the hardware battle but their approach might make them more successful.....

Hardware: LCD & Camcorders

Cool LCD
http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,121824,tk,cx072705a,00.asp

Videocams
Camcorders are now reaching 3-4 megapixels and that's great for videos.
But what I'm particularly waiting for consumer camcorders to have is DVD or flash card recording capabilities, like Sony's Handycam DCR-DVD301 which uses DVD-R & DVD-RW or Hitachi's DZ-MV580A boasts of Mini DVD-R, Mini DVD-RAM, MultiMediaCard & SD Memory Card.

Now it's here,...I just have to wait for prices to go down...hehe.

Email is only for grownups??? (are we getting old?)
Figure this, teens are saying instant messaging (IM) are in. Email is for grownups. Read it here

This got me thinking... is email still the net's killer app? Will IM inevitably replace email?....But before that happens, just wait till all threats comes out for IM (like email spam) And I'm sure there will be a lot more than IM spam.
