Yo CDRKING.com! yo' site has been hacked. Just go to the search page.
I Haven't looked into it too much yet but I think it's a cross site scripting (XSS)/injection hack because the text is on the product categories and other places. Dunno how long it's been there, just wanted check out if they have wifi routers......Oh, well. Mental note: Do not to buy security products from them. hehe

Got my IE 6 pass the ACID Test 3! (and some Chrome OS)

Yes, some developers still have to maintain IE6 especially in the enterprise (I know, it should already be eradicated from this world) and a big chunk of the market still uses it. Anyways, I mainly use Firefox & Chrome.

Now, As some of you may have guessed, it's just an addon to Internet Explorer to make it behave like Google Chrome which according to google, makes it faster and have more advanced features. But I think what it (webkit) really does is just enhances its javascript speed and HTML 5 support.

Google Chrome Frame has been out for a couple of weeks now, but most user gripes is that the only way they can use it (and according to the video) is to have an special HTML tag on your webpage to activate it. Soooooo, how can it be useful if we have to make those tags ourselves or wait for other sites to have those tags??

They say it is by design for now, but I found on some forums that you simply have to add "CF:" in front of the whole URL.

to
cf:http://aced3.acidtests.org

(update: They now explain this on the developers guide)

And now, you can now have a bigger chance to view and use those web 2.x sites (read: sites that lower productivity. hehe)

And about that Chrome OS? It's just gonna be a new Linux distro aimed at using Google products. It's not like KDE or GNOME because it's not going to use X Windows! Now what I want is a desktop environment war between Chrome OS ,Windows 7 & OS X (Aqua).

That's it. A very short blog for today.....What else did I do recently? Oh, I managed to implement a very, very easy to use opensource solution for remote desktop using RFB protocol (aka VNC). Started playing around with my Wii. Trying out an executable packing tool (UPX). Level 298 in Mafia Wars. Food? tried Xocolat and 1950's Pan de amerikana in Marikina (highly recommended!). And still waiting for my WIMAX installation at home. I wonder how long until LTE 4G comes to the Philippines?
